As an early years practitioner, it is a privilege to care for, professionally love, inspire, teach and support the children and families who come to us. Being physically and emotionally available for the holistic needs, interests and feelings of each child makes every day unique, special and rewarding.
I’m over the moon to be joining team ‘Little Acers’ after 18years of working with children in various environments such as language schools, primary schools and nurseries plus running my own toddler group ‘Nature Bugs’ for 5 years in Portishead.
Rewilding our society is more important than ever and it is my passion and dream to be better at this myself as well as creating as many opportunities as possible to get our children outside exploring our natural spaces and building community.
I’m a big fan of Hygge and the belief that it takes a village to raise a child. Professionals and families together can protect the wonder of childhood and support one another through the parenting journey.
I am myself a mum of two primary aged girls who have taught and inspired me the past 11 years and who keep me constantly on my toes.
This year I will qualify as a level 3 practitioner and level 3 forest school lead. Both will make official what I’ve been doing for a very long time.
