Beth childcare career started 15 years ago. She started as an apprentice and then worked towards her NVQ3 which led her to being a nursery educator. She then became head of room for 0-3 year olds. She later moved to another nursery where she was appointed deputy manager and then for a short time she covered maternity leave as the nursery manager, where she looked after a large team and up to 70 children and their families. Her favourite part of the job, is making those connections with the children and families and becoming part of their learning journey, creating memories and off exploring the outdoors with children. She has been learning the curiosity approach through loose parts and how our everyday items can be used to learn from.

She is one of three girls and a mad dog lover, especially her golden retriever Angus. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends and going to the theatre. Her favourite time of year is Autumn, when she spends time in Cornwall with her family by the sea.
