Our Aims

Our Setting Aims:

  • We ensure the safety and welfare of all the children in our care. The child’s welfare is paramount.
  • We promote children’s right to be strong, resilient and listened to, by creating an environment in our setting which encourages children to develop a positive self-image, regardless of colour and ethnicity, language spoken at home, religion beliefs, cultural traditions or home background.
  • We help children to establish and sustain satisfying relationships within their families, with peers, and with other adults.
  • We encourage children to develop a sense of autonomy and independence.
  • We enable children to have the self-confidence and the vocabulary to resist inappropriate approaches.
  • We work with parents to build their understanding of and commitment to the welfare of all our children.
  • We actively promote British values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance.
